The Wood County Dartball League is a church dartball league in northwest Ohio in Wood County since the early 1930s and is still going strong.  Currently it consists of 12 teams from 11 different area churches and is open to any denomination.  The current denominations represented are Lutheran, Methodist, Church of the Nazrene, and Presbyterian churches.  Teams are from Bowling Green, Luckey, New Rochester, Pemberville, and Stony Ridge.  Click on the Churches tab - for pictures of the churches participating in our league and links to their websites if available and see who has been playing for your church.  Better yet come out and give it a try!

some dartball trivia, and loads of pictures of the fellowship had while playing dartball.  Each week game summaries and the standing will be posted along with any news worthy information will be shared on the Wood County DB News tab also. 

There are many variations of dartball across the United States, but they all have a lot of common characteristics.  The basic scoring is based of of baseball, but the defense is completely different.  Our defense relies on our abilities to break the other person's concentration in some good natured talking and sometimes other distractions.  The boards will vary from league to league, and you can see our league board by clicking here.  Our leagues  games are all played in all the participating churches - in class rooms, basements, fellowship halls etc...   The largest common factor is people getting together and having a lot of fun.
